Mama Marsh's Creations

Mama Marsh's Creations offers several styles of cloth diapers.  The oldest and first style that was created was the pocket diaper.  Once that design was down, I have added the All in one (AIO), the All in two (AI2) and the newest design, the Fitted diaper.  I plan to start testing a Prefold style after the first of the year.

About Mama Marsh's Diapers:

MMC's diapers have a hidden PUL layer also known as a polyurethane laminated fabric.  This is a water resistant treatment applied to the fabric.  It is designed to prevent leaks, thus removing the need for a cover.  (Not in the fitted style) There is also a fun cotton outer layer, and then your choice of fleece, flannel, or bamboo fleece for the inside liner (next to your Little One's bottom.)  For the insert or soakers you choose from micro fiber or bamboo fleece (4 layers of the Bamboo) for closures on the diapers, your can choose a snap closure or a Velcro closure to speed up the infamous wiggly diaper change!

Pocket Diapers: Pocket diapers have an opening in the back of the diapers to insert your choice of inserts.  These are popular because you are able to choose the amount of absorbency that you would like at the present time.

All in Ones (AIO's) AIO's are the most like a disposable diaper.  They have the PUL layer, and the soaker is already sewn directly into the diaper, so need to stuff!  The MMC AIO’s are unique! In these diapers, the leg areas are open so that air and water can get to the inside of the diaper. (shown right)  This helps to allow the water in during a wash to get a better washing.  Also the air can reach the inside of the diaper to help dry the insides faster, thus less time in the dryer or on the line! (One major complaint of the AIO!) You could also add extra inserts in the leg openings if you need more absorbency! You shouldn’t worry about leaks because when on a child, the leg opening are closed up, just like any other diaper.

All in Two's (AI2's) AI2's are like AIO's but they have a lay in soaker or a snap in soaker instead of the sewn in soaker.  One unique thing about the AI2's is that if the cover is not spoiled when you change the diaper, you will be able to just snap in a new soaker and re-use it.  If you need more absorbency, just add an insert or two under the soaker already in the diaper!

Fitted Diapers: (Shown Below) Fitted diapers are the only one of the MMC line of diapers that needs a water proof cover over them.  These diapers can come in two different varieties for the shell of the diaper. Flannel/fleece combo (3 layers of flannel outside, 1 layer of fleece inside) or a bamboo combo (4 layers of bamboo fleece)  The soakers are a lay in or snap in soaker, like the AI2, but come with 4 layers of micro fiber/fleece combo or a 4 layer insert of bamboo fleece.  *New* I will now be stocking AIO style Fitted's and the Pocket style of Fitted's!

Inserts for the diapers: MMC come with one of two standard inserts/soakers.  The main insert used in the diapers is a micro fiber insert.  This is 3 layers of micro fiber tri folded, either sewn together (for the AIO, AI2, Fitted's) with a fleece layer on top, to help keep the moisture away from little bums, or a square that you can fold and put in the Pockets.  The other choice is a Bamboo fleece insert.  These are 4 layers of Bamboo fleece that are sewn together (for all styles.) Coming soon! A new insert to replace the microfiber, and I am also working on a new "super soaker" insert!

Covers: MMC covers are cotton outside layer with a PUL inside layer, perfect to put over the fitted diapers or prefolds (currently not sold through MMC at the moment, but I plan to start testing them after the first of the year.)  They have been redesigned to be a turned and top stitched design.  This is great for those little ones who can not have surged edges next to their skin.  They can come with Velcro or snaps for the closure.  They are made from the same cut as the diapers.
